Well after a long hiatus, I'm going to attempt to actually keep up with this little blog...even if I am the only one who reads it ;). Tomorrow happens to be my 25th Birthday. Quarter of a century here. So I basically know everything now..... :P. HA! Here is a list of some things that I have learned (or rather am still learning) this past year:
- Life is not fair. As much as I would like to think it should be...it just isn't.
- Saying No is OK. Saying no to people, to situations, to yourself. And to that last cookie...Still working on this one. But be true to yourself. Don't be afraid of outcomes that you cannot control.
- There is beauty all around us, stop and smell the roses :)
- Trust your instincts - take risks - most often you will look back at what you wished you had done...
- Families are not perfect, but they are yours. Cherish those relationships.
- In hard times, true colors shine the brightest.
- Work isnt really work when you truly enjoy what you do. I am lucky to have found something that I look forward to doing every(most of the time)day :)
